Dear
obrien_blue
You suck. I do NOT need to get addicted to another show and waste my life watching countless hours of it online.
But... it's soooooooooooo good.
Marry me.
Love,
Rachel
We started at the beginning of season 1 and are now on season 3 episode 5. In two weeks.
A couple of things I'm noticing:
1. I love watching this with her because she laughs at all of the funny parts and actually pauses it sometimes so that she can laugh and not miss anything.
2. I miss Zack. Like... a lot.
3. B and B really just need to get together. Like now.
4. And Hodgins and Angela? Please, get your heads out of your asses and remember how much you love each other.
That is all for now.
I've got think hankering (egged on by a friend of mine) to write a novel.
The problem?
A total lack of ideas/original characters.
Hmmmmm.
How does one get past that?

Dear
obrien_blue
I have a Christmas present for you in the form of Holiday Exchange Fic.
I am currently on the train on my way home to my parents house for Christmas, but I hope to be able to post it quickly later this evening.
Just letting you know so that you don't feel left out with all the Christmas fic giftng that is going around.
Merry Christmas (or whatever it is you may celebrate), f-list!!
*excited*
It'll be her first time in Chicago, and right before Christmas (the 20th-24th).
Anybody have any cool date ideas? That are CHEAP because my funds are seriously nonexistant (like I'm pretending that if I leave my bills in the mailbox, they will magically cease to exist). But I still want to show her a good time. And preferrably not have her turn into a little Jena popcicle. She's Texas born and bred and might actually die in the Chicago cold, so unless we geta major heat wave, most outdoor activities are out.
Ideas?

If someone on your flist has done this meme, please take the time to go and comment. It will take you two minutes, but mean a lot to an author. I think that any artist likes knowing that their work is appreciated, and many of us work very hard to bring the entertainment that we all enjoy here.

For those of you who don't know, I am an opera singer.
Or, really, I'm working on it.
I'm in my last year of university and I am in THREE acting classes this year, which is beyond awesome.
This is the part where I tell y'all how much I love acting. Because I do. Sometimes I want to drop the whole singing thing and just do straight theatre, I love it so much. And I'm pretty damn good at it (SO MUCH EASIER when you don't have to sing. Seriously).
So let's recap the awesomeness of the stuff I've gotten to work on this semester:
-Shakespearean sonnet (Shakespeare is kind of my "thing.")
-Harper/Joe scene from Angels in America, where I play a drug addicted housewife who suspects that her husband is gay and confronts him about it (with the very subtle line "ARE YOU A HOMO?")
-Helena/Countess scene from All's Well that Ends Well. More Shakespeare. I love that fucker.
- Two scenes from Les Liaisons Dangereuses, playing Merteuil (otherwise known as "Meryl Streep in the movie.") I FUCKING LOVE THIS OMG. She is so manipulative and so SMART and so crafty and at the same time so damn vulnerable. It's brilliant.
- Inez in No Exit. 'Nuff said.
And now we've gotten our assignments for my opera scenes class next semester, my favorite of which is the confrontation scene from Robert Ward's opera The Crucible (yes, based on the play) between Elizabeth and John Proctor.
It's real, big-girl music and real, big-girl drama and I am VERY excited.
I mean, come on? The Crucible is one of the greatest pieces of American drama and Elizabeth Proctor is an incredible character. There is so much there, so much to dig into.
I am quite happy with this. Oh yes.
I have a leak under my sink.
Anybody know a hot FBI agent who could take care of it, with or without the aid of a "For Dummies" book?
Sequel to "Antici..." which I wrote last night whilst awaiting the Canadian!Bones link.

"Hey Booth?"
"Yeah, Bones?"
"I think that I am tired of waiting."
...
"Booth? Are you okay? You just spit scotch all over yourself again."
"Yeah, Bones. I'm just... me too, Bones. Me too."
----
The end. Heh. :)
Okay, waiting for stupid Canada to post a link is driving me crazy. So I wrote mini-fic based on the thread at 206.

Disclaimer: House belongs to FOX and David Shore and a bunch of other people. Not to me.
Author’s note: Very quick one-shot because this episode just SCREAMED for fic. Experimenting with a couple of new stylistic things, and still trying to figure out the characters, so it’s probably not perfect, but I couldn’t help myself. What a fantastic episode.
