Sequel to "Antici..." which I wrote last night whilst awaiting the Canadian!Bones link.

"Hey Booth?"
"Yeah, Bones?"
"I think that I am tired of waiting."
...
"Booth? Are you okay? You just spit scotch all over yourself again."
"Yeah, Bones. I'm just... me too, Bones. Me too."
----
The end. Heh. :)
Okay, waiting for stupid Canada to post a link is driving me crazy. So I wrote mini-fic based on the thread at 206.

Title: Maybe
Author: cardiogod
Rating: PG
Word Count: 1000
Pairing: House/Cuddy
Spoilers: 6.07 “Known Unknowns.”
Summary: Post-ep for 6.07. “Maybe he loved her once.”
Disclaimer: House belongs to FOX and David Shore and a bunch of other people. Not to me.
Author’s note: Very quick one-shot because this episode just SCREAMED for fic. Experimenting with a couple of new stylistic things, and still trying to figure out the characters, so it’s probably not perfect, but I couldn’t help myself. What a fantastic episode.

( Story under the cut )
I leave for Texas in nine days. Which means that I will be in Texas when the Bones premiere airs. And not only will I be in Texas, but I will be at the recital of an old mentor who happens to be singing at my significant others' alma matter. So fucking coincidental, particularly given that said ex-mentor and I haven't spoken in six months because she kind of went nuts. Drama. But I'm going to the recital either to reconnect, or to get the closure that I never got in March.
BUT I don't know what I'm going to do about this premiere because I am going to be insanely busy in Texas. Having lots of sex and having voice lessons and seeing friends and stuff. Must find a way to watch it. My dedication will not waver.
School is shit. They fired my voice teacher on the first day of school for totally political reasons that make no sense, so I'm basically up shit creek. That's gonna be fun.
I turned 21 last week, which was less exciting than I thought it would be. I guess 21 doesn't mean much if you're not one who really drinks or parties (I'm not).
I have absolutely ZERO impulse to write. No ideas. No plot bunnies. I'm hoping the premiere (when I get to see it) will change that.
Anybody have any great story ideas that they wouldn't mind me bogarting?
I am still ridiculously happy. It's a good feeling.
BUT, I am going to be in Texas from September 16-23. Which means I will be in Texas on September 17th. Which is Bones Day.
What to do, what to do.
"Sorry, friends, can't spend time with you, must watch Bones."
Too inconsiderate? Hmmmmm.
Maybe the woman I'm housesitting for has DVR...
And, after completing All the King's Horses, I am COMPLETELY out of fic ideas. Like... nothing rattling around in my brain at all. Nada.
Where do you go when you need to find plot bunnies? *ponders*
Title: All the King’s Horses

Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 4000
Pairing: Booth/Brennan
Spoilers: Wannabe in the Weeds and Pain in the Heart
Disclaimer: All things “Bones” belong to FOX, Hart Hanson, and Kathy Reichs. I’m just having fun.
Summary: What if Booth hadn’t stepped in front of Brennan in time to catch Pam Nunan’s bullet? What if Pam had hit her target?
Author’s Note: I can’t believe it’s finally finished. Many thanks go to obrien_blue, zerodetorres, and tempertemper for holding my hand through this last bit, which was exceedingly difficult.
This whole piece has been a learning experience (I learned that I should really stick to one-shots, for example. Heh.) and I am so grateful to all of you have read and commented with encouragement.
On with the show, I guess.

Someone tell me how to end my story.
Plzkthxbye.
I don't think I've ever had a case of writers' block quite as bad as this one.
My life has been crazy.
When I'm not working, I'm in rehearsals. When I'm not in rehearsals, I'm working. When I'm in neither, chances are I'm probably driving to one or the other.
I apologize for my absence around here (and a particular apology goes to
0penhearts for being a crappy-ass beta. I fail at life.
I am loving Texas so much that I changed my return flight to give myself an extra week here to spend with the other singers, just socializing (which is VERY unlike me).
I am 2000 words into the last chapter of All the King's Horses and I am totally stuck. Stucky McStuckerton.
And now, to work. And then rehearsal till 9. Rock on.
